Don’t let it develop into an emergency. However, unexpected emergencies do occur, if this happens call the Kingston Emergency Clinic at (845)336-0713.

Surgery

All surgery is done on appointment basis only. When surgery
is performed, your pet is done using sterile technique, gas anesthesia, and the
assistance of a licensed veterinary technician who also monitors anesthesia.

Visiting

All visitations are determined on a case-by-case basis, are
limited to critically ill patients, and are decided by the case doctor and
safety protocols.

Hospital Releasing

Hospitalized animals are released during hospital hours. This
is for your protection so that you can receive proper instructions and any
indicated medications. We recommend you wait about an hour after you arrive at
home to feed or give your pet water. Anesthesia can sometimes cause your pet to
be a little nauseous especially after a car ride.

Rabies vaccination

Due to New York state law any cats or dogs seen at our
hospital must be up to date on a rabies vaccination.

Appointment policy

Due to a high demand of appointments and in order to be respectful of the medical needs of all our patients, please be courteous and call our office promptly if you are unable to make your appointment. A $40.00 fee will be charged if you no call, no show for your pet’s appointment. A $35.00 fee will be charged to the account if you cancel your appointment same day. As a courtesy to others, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment if you are more than 10 minutes late. If you do happen to be running late, please notify us.

Charges

We believe that the fees charged are just and fair. Unlike the human hospital, the facilities which are provided are entirely due to the private enterprise and investment in the community as well as the protection of the community’s public health and welfare. Charges are based on our time, the need for hospitalization and services, and any medications needed for your pet. Payment in full is required upon releasing of the animal from the hospital.

Credit Policy

You may pay
by cash, check, credit, and care credit. In order to avoid misunderstanding we
urge that all fees be discussed with the doctor before services are performed.

It is our desire to be of service to your pet and you, to treat diseases, to offer information, advice and assistance whenever needed.
