Wayne E. Tremper, DVM
Dr. Tremper was about 14 when he started working with animals. His job working on a farm gave him a chance to spend time with animals of all sizes. He graduated from Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1965. Dr. Tremper worked first with small and large animals, eventually choosing to focus on small animals. He founded Ulster Animal Hospital in 1974 and has served pets and those who love them ever since. Dr. Tremper has been happily married since 1965 and is the father of 7 children and the grandfather of 16. Dr. Tremper is also a model train aficionado.
Karen D. Parker, DVM
Dr. Parker started working in animal hospitals when she was 16. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University on a basketball scholarship and graduated in 1994 with a degree in biology. After taking 2 years off, she attended and graduated from Ross University of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. She has been practicing in New York since June 2000 and started working at the Ulster Animal Hospital in October 2009. Dr. Parker currently lives in Kingston with 2 English Bulldogs, Olive Grace and Squirt; a Shih tzu, Hazel; a French Bulldog, Winnie and 3 cats,Gryffon, Maui and HeiHei. Dr. Parker also enjoys sewing, knitting, crocheting and painting.
